Leaving school at 18 I took a job working as a local government officer. The work was fairly repetitive so I started driving bands on weekends to make life a bit more exciting. At the age of 28 and after 10 years of heavy drinking I finally sobered up, quit my job and started work, full time as a roadie, driver, courier and chauffeur. Over the next few decades I had the pleasure of working with some weird and wonderful bands, solo musicians and other assorted interesting characters.

This website is my attempt to keep the memory alive, of all the gigs, festivals and journeys I did, but also to shine a light on all the unsung heroes who trundle up and down the motorways of Britain showcasing their music.
